Hidden deep in the Morning Star Creek valley is the old water wheel that was in use by the Morningstar Mine around the years 1905 to 1910
The walk in here is a fairly straightforward 30 minute walk, with some small hills, however I would suggest wearing decent walking footwear, bringing enough drinking water, paying attention to the prevailing weather conditions and keeping an eye out for our wriggly bitey friends.
To get to the start of the walking track for this and the Engine of Riches cache (GC5AXBP) will require a 4wd, with most of the Donelly Creek track to be of an easy standard of track that most AWDs and 4WDs can cope with.
