Geocache Description:

This is a short series of  6 caches about London’s Routemaster bus. The caches have to be found in the correct order.

The Routmaster bus has served London’s population for over 50 years and has become an icon. The Routemaster first made its appearance at the Commercial Motor Show in September 1954, with the last example rolling off the production line in 1968. The first Routemasters entered passenger service in 1956 with the final day of normal public service taking place in December 2005. Some preserved Routemasters do still however operate on special tourist routes 9 & 15 (called Heritage routes) and it is estimated that about 1000 still survive around the world. Many have been preserved and can be seen at rallies. RM1 is preserved at the London Transport Museum, Covent Garden.

As the Routemaster, with its open platform, was a hop-on hop-off bus, it is only fitting that all these 6 caches should offer cache and dash possibilities and be hidden along local bus routes to typify what these buses were all about. None of these 35mm caches will be hidden at bus stops, but all will be close to suitable parking places. As the Routemaster was not expected to be in public service beyond 20 years, each of these caches will be withdrawn and scrapped, when convenient, after approximately 20 finds.

Find the registration number of the Routemaster in the clue in RM4. Using the same formula as in cache RM2, produce a nine digit number ABCDEWXYZ

Find the local Flying Banana Fruitmaster. (RML ####)

Calculate ABCDEWXYZ+#### to get NOPQRSTUV

The 35mm cache is not at the given co-ordinates, so hunt for the cache around N (SP+PP) (UT-TS).(UTN-PPP) E (RQO-QOP) (VS-NO).(NOT+P)
