Kätkö on upealla paikalla, korkealla kalliolla Merkjärven rannalla. Maasto on hieman haastava ja lapsille jopa vaarallinen korkean pudotuksen vuoksi. Polut vievät kuitenkin aivan kätköpaikan lähistölle. Huomioithan, että hiekkateitä rinnettä alas kesämökeille meno on kielletty! Ethän myöskään jätä autoasi niin, että se estää pääsyn mökeille tai muuten häiritsee mökkeilijöitä! Kätkö on kooltaan pieni, ja sen lähistöllä koordinaatteja voi lähestyä ylä- tai alakautta. Kätkölle mentäessä suositellaan erityistä varovaisuutta kallion ollessa liukas eli esim. kostealla säällä. Talvella kätköä ei suositella.
This cache simply shows a beautiful sight over Merkjärvi. The terrain is a bit challenging and even dangerous to kids if they go too near to the fall. However, there are little paths that take you to only about 20 meters' distance from the cache. Please notice that there is no need, and it is strictly forbidden, to enter the yards of the summer cottages nearby. Also notice, that you should not leave your car on the road so that they block the roads to the cottages down by the lake. The cache is small, and after getting near to it, it is possible to approach it both from up and down. I highly recommend extra carefulness whenever the terrain is moist or wet. The cache is not recommended to be searched in winter time.
