Enjoy a walk along the lake on this paved path. The trees provide frequent shade spots along the way in summer, or cover from rain the rest of the time. Cross a bridge over a cascading stream. Read signs along the trail and learn the history of the area, and enjoy the many nice view points overlooking the lake and Rattlesnake Ledge.
The cache is a blue bison about halfway along the trail. Bring your own pencil, and please re-camo after logging. Some discretion may be necesary; no need to bushwack so therefore no cover from passers-by.
