As young boys we often went with our older sister to have a picnic at the 3 white stones. We always looked at the Giant’s Footprint which was visible on top of one of the stones. It seemed so clear to young eyes, but now I have difficulty to find it and make out the footprint, perhaps it is worn through time or do the old have an inability to see it properly; my son who is nine can see it quite clearly as I used to over 40 years ago..
Park at the end of the road and use the stile to get over the fence and onto the hill. Take time to look for the Giant’s Footprint, it is probably more difficult to find / see than the Cache. Whichever you find first the other will be the bonus find.
