Geocache Description:

This cache is a small clip-lock box with pleny of room for swaps or TBs. It can be found easily as a cache & dash. Parking is opposite the cache.

The location is on the northern edge of the parish of Little Newcastle and in a field just behind the cache site is the location of the "Old castle".  The "new castle" after which the village is named was situated where the village green lies today and was built in the 12th century by Adam de la Rupe, an ancestor of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
