The Splash Traditional Cache

You are looking for a small clip and lock box.  Please be very careful to recover the cache once you have put it back and watch out for muggles!  There is no need to leave the pavement to access the cache.

Until 1957 there was no bridge over the River Pinn, just a ford over the road.  Growing up in Ickenham in the 1970s and 80s it was not uncommon for this area to still be referred to as ''The Splash'.  The cache is very short distance away from the bridge.  The area will be very busy at school times.
