I wanted to get a new cache out there for all to find and decided to make this one a very easy hide.
"The Hurt Locker" won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 2010. It has some interesting trivia with the win, as it is the lowest grossing Best Picture Winner, since box office receipts have been tracked. This is on an absolute basis (not adjusted for inflation) and grossed less than movies dating back to the 1960s. It also was the first time a film directed by a woman won Best Picture (in addition to a Best Director award for Kathryn Bigelow in Academy history. The film is not within the IMDB Top 250, which to me is strange as this list has a tendency to skew to newer releases, witth some very questionable entries on the Top 250. Personally, I think that this movie is underrated and is among my favorite of the war genre.
