Geocache Description:

Find two trees of different species, impossibly growing out of the same spot together! Cache is a small pill bottle with only a log and pencil nub in it. It is located along the "fairway" of a hole on the disc golf course. The trees are a lesson, perhaps, in coexistence for the world?

Cache is a medium-sized pill bottle. The trails are a bit hilly, hence the #3 terrain rating, but not a rocky climb and no bushwacking is needed. I happen to live on Lufbery Street in my town, far away from Wallingford, and gradually learned about Raoul Lufbery, for whom this park, and my street, were named. He was the chief flying ace in the Lafayette Escadrille, a cadre of patriotic American pilots who fought for France in World War I. They volunteered before the US entered the war. Lufbery was a French-American from Wallingford. You can see his name and other Lufbery's on the war memorials in front of Wallingford's Town Hall.
