Wee ZZZs on the A9 (N) - This was Lay-by 7 Traditional Cache

A series of caches on our favourite part of the A9 between Perth and Carrbridge. Set at places where you can stop, have a rest & enjoy the scenery.

Please note we have labelled these caches for north or south bound so that you do not need to cross the A9 to reach them. The exception is Tufty's Playtime at Ballinluig which can be accessed either way thanks to a flyover.

There was once a nice big lay-by here, but it no longer exists due to the dualling of the main road. Cachers should turn into Bankfoot then take the "no through" road parallel to the A9 to do this as a cache & dash.

Very quiet road but you will get the occasional vehicle.

Chance to stretch your legs and enjoy views across the Perthshire countryside to the hills towards Strathbraan. Usually see some birds of prey from here and hear lots of bird songs.

Cache box has some swaps and room for small trackables or coins.
