A pleasant walk around the Alconbury countryside. Don't forget the clues for the bonus and the Pubs multicache.
On setting there were no livestock in the fields but some fields nearby had sheep in and one of the fields sometimes contains horses.
The walk is mostly on country footpaths but the first section heads through the village itself where there are other nearby caches to collect and there is a little bit of walking on pavements alongside the Great North Road.
The walk is not entirely level, but we're not talking Everest here. It is stroller friendly unless its been raining a lot but I wouldn't take a wheelchair round!
There are several watering holes on the way round but they are not all open all day during the week or even the weekends sometimes. So if you are planning a lunch stop I'd advise making enquiries in advance.
