Geocache Description:

The first of hopefully many more long island caches. This cache was hidden by one member of Team ESFKids from The College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse and His friend Mike a Student at Syracuse University. We are home for the summer and caching is in the air. Syracuse is somewhat of a hot spot for Geocaching and if you’re ever in the area Team ESFKids has hidden some great ones there, along with many other fantastic caches and places to see. This cache is hidden in the Arthur H. Kuntz Preserve off Landing Ave. Past the golf course a ways where Landing makes a hard left. Beware… Parking is extremely limited and tight. If you’re driving a suburban you may want to go with your friend in their car or Jeep. Enjoy the preserve, it has some nice hiking trails and can make for a nice afternoon of walking. During the summer the biting bugs are many and bug spray may be a necessity. Also off the trails there is much poison Ivy, so try not to leave the trail until you think you absolutely must. Have Fun! And Keep It Hidden!

GPS signal may be stubborn at times... be patient! The first of hopefully many more long island caches.
