Geocache Description:

Fush and chups are a traditional food from the Land of the Long White Cloud and the takeaway meal beloved by generations of New Zealanders has been feeding millions of kiwis for over 150 years.

Kiwis chomp their way through about seven million servings of chups a week, or about 120,000 tonnes a year.

Two geocaching shielas are visiting from Aoteroa. One is a canuck and the other a kiwi.

What better way to welcome them to Hongkie than to a have traditional kiwi feast of fush and chups with ketchup and a couple of tins.

Two parts to this event:

1. Meet at the fush and chups location and buy some authentic kiwi kai at 6.30pm.

2. Take your takeaways to the nearby picnic area and enjoy NZ's finest food.
