This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs or logged in for some time I am archiving it.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

Geocache Description:

As the caching game on Alderney heats up, we felt that a Trackable Hotel was needed. This is a cache only for Trackables like Travel Bugs and Geocoins, and it is near the harbour so that visiting cachers can help the TBs on their way so that they don't become static on the island. Feel free to come and sign the logbook, and take a Trackable if you're able to move it on quickly, or leave one for someone else to pick up as they travel.

We have made a new Trackable Hotel because the old one caused a lot of trouble for many cachers and because of nearby building work. 

The new hide is a little grotto by Braye Beach, and is best accessed from the car park side on the common.
