Geocache Description:

A series of caches on our favourite part of the A9 between Perth and Carrbridge. Set at places where you can stop, have a rest & enjoy the scenery.

Please note we have labelled these caches for north or south bound so that you do not need to cross the A9 to reach them. The exception is Tufty's Playtime at Ballinluig which can be accessed either way thanks to a flyover.

Watch out for the sign shortly after layby 62. Lots of parking available after you have turned in.

Once again you are on the old A9 road being used as a cycle way so very little traffic and suitable to stretch your legs.

When driving on the A9 you often do not realise that you are constantly crossing bridges carrying you across tiny little streams, wide rivers and major estuaries.

At Dalnamein there are three bridges to be seen; an old arch attributed to Wade, a substantial concrete structure by Owen Williams and a modern bridge carrying the A9. Did you even notice you crossed the modern bridge before turning off?

You are looking for a small lock N lock box in a cammo bag.

Cache box has some swaps and room for small trackables or coins. Note the 'bean' pen is not a swap and stays with the cache.
