A Quiet Neighborhood Wherigo Cache

This cache has been archived.

team kaiketsu: It is with great sadness that we archive this cache. It was a LOT of work and was really fun for those who engaged it. But, Wherigo caches are still unpopular and this one didn't bring a lot of people. So, we're shutting it down.

Geocache Description:

This is a nighttime Wherigo cache!

Notice: Wherigo disabled during the day

To play this and log the cache, you will need to:
- Have a Wherigo player installed
- Download this cartridge file and move it into your Wherigo's folder
- Open the cartridge and play the game
- Find the final cache and sign the log

This Wherigo will lead you through an adventure that travels paved walkways and dirt paths to get the information you need to find the final cache.  Since the cache is so deeply hidden, you won't be able to find it without playing the Wherigo and getting its clues as to the location.

In order to complete this Wherigo and find the cache, you will need:
- it to be nighttime (after 8pm but before 6am)
- a sound-enabled device to play the Wherigo
- about 45-60 minutes
- a flashlight with fresh batteries
- a sense of adventure

The difficulty rating of this cache is based on the fact that wrong answers/actions in the game will require you to restart the Wherigo - so pay careful attention!  The terrain rating is for the distance covered and for the dirt path that must be walked down a few times.  Finding the actual cache should be very easy if you complete the quest and use the assistance provided in the Wherigo; without doing so, the hide is probably a 4-5 star difficulty.

PLEASE NOTE: Wherigos don't always work perfectly.  Sometimes you are where you're supposed to be but the Wherigo won't activate correctly.  Simply walk away from the area a bit and come back; it should allow you to do this UNLESS you made a bad decision and have been given the "Game Over" screen.

Congrats to ShamRider & SilxTag for co-FTFs!

Wherigo This is a Wherigo cache. To complete this cache you will need a device capable of running the Wherigo Player and the cartridge for this game (download available above and below). More information about the Wherigo experience can be found at Wherigo.com

Once you have the Player ready to go, you will need to log in at Wherigo.com using your Geocaching.com account login to download the the Quiet Neighborhood.gwc cartridge. You will run the cartridge from the device's Wherigo Player, not from the Geocaching application.

If you are brand new to Wherigo and want to try a very simple one, try Memfis Mafia's "Ogi'rehw White Belt".
