Cache is located within the road right of way. Cache is a waterproof box 6 inches by 4 inches with log. pen, and a few trade items.
The cache is along the road, parking is good and close. This is a dead end road that is lightly traveled. Furthur up the road a ways on the right hand side you will see a old dam that no longer holds water if you care to go that far. It is almost a marvel how these stones were moved and put in place. I reserched a bit was unable to find anything about this dam. I can only speculate that a mill was here at one time. I love the history of this area but am unable to find anything about this dam. The road dead ends near a fence that is the back of an elk ranch of sorts. I have never seen an elk there tho.
