Geocache Description:

This find is all about the beautiful sunsets of the great western plains of Australia. The find looks out over the Walkden palin. It is 4 km across with no trees and was part of the flood plain of the Darling River. The Darling River would stretch 20 km wide in a large flood.

Please stay and enjoy the sunset. My heart expands as I watch sunsets across the western plains.

This cache is meant to be found just on sunset. The co ordinates are for the starting marker. From the marker walk towards the setting sun to find the cache. Don't get stumped!

Careful: This cache was set on the 1st day of Spring, so it you are looking earlier or later in the season you will need to adjust the angle of you direction accordingly.

I have seen Emu and Kangaroo in this area regularly. I have also seen Echidna diggings close to the cache. (excavated ant nests)

I have left some coins. Please swap to show your appreciation. Please replace carefully for the next persons enjoyment
