This is one of the prettiest stretches of the River Thames between Reading and London and well worth a visit. I visited to log the resurrected Thames Path: White Place Farm and was surprised to note that the other caches along this stretch had all been archived since I cached here last. This path deserves a few more caches, so I decided I'd better hide a couple.
You will need to bring a pen as the cache does not contain one.
If you are wondering about the cache name, I chose it because this is the point at which, if you are heading upstream, the Thames Path leaves the riverside to divert around some private land.
The path along the riverside has been much improved over the past few years and no longer becomes impassible after rain. However that has meant that it is better used than it used to be, so please take care when recovering and rehiding the cache; the spot chosen often has a heavy muggle infestation, so you may need to visit more than once to avoid showing non-cachers where this one is. The difficulty rating reflects this and is higher than it would otherwise be.
