Jubileum! Traditional Cache

Il Giubileo pepetuo è una ricorrenza annuale che ricorda come i popolani pievesi liberarono il Cardinale Giovanni De' Medici futuro papa Leone X dalle mani dei francesi. Costui una volta eletto papa ricordò l'aiuto prestato alla sua liberazione da parte dei pievesi rilasciando loro una bolla papale che perdonava i loro peccati. 

The Perpetual Jubilee is an annual event that reminds how the people of Pieve freed Cardinal Giovanni de 'Medici, the future Pope Leo X from the hands of the French. He once elected pope recalled the help given to his release by releasing to Pieve a papal bull that forgive their sins.

La cache si trova all'esterno della chiesa di S. Maria della Consolazione. La chiesa, costruita nel 1518, è a tre navate, senza transetti. Di linee settecentesche è la sagrestia nuova. In essa si conserva una grande tela in cui è raffigurato Leone X mentre esibisce la bolla dei giubileo perpetuo.

The cache is located outside the church of St. Mary of Consolation. The church, built in 1518, has three aisles, no transepts. Lines of the eighteenth century is the new sacristy. In it retains a large canvas that depicts Leo X while performing the bubble of perpetual jubilee.
