This cache will introduce you to the new trail at Stockton State Park, The Lakeview Trail. Two years in the making the trail opened early in late spring 2014 and has been busy ever since.
Please keep to trail head parking. Rangers can issue state tickets in state parks for not parking in proper areas. Also stick to the trails. They are an easy hike. The final is very near the trail and there is no reason to "strait line it" to the cache. Permission has been granted and proper paperwork has been filed with Park Superintendent Adams. Once at GZ you will not have to search the ledge to make the find. The cache is a regular sized container and is being started with a nice pair of sunglasses. Once you sign your name please place the cache back in its spot and place the natural camo back in place. Watch for critters along the trail and be sure to watch the kids and yourselves near the final. The terrain rating is more for the final than the hike. Remember if you don't sign the log in the container, then please don't log it on-line. Please bring a pen and some water you'll have a journey ahead of you.
Have fun and enjoy the nature. The spot for the final was in an area suggested for its views by the park Superintendent.
