Geocache Description:

A wonderful and peaceful walk through Brotherhood Woods will lead you to this cache in a small click-lock container just off the path, in the naturally disguised hollow of a tree, next to a stream.

Brotherhood woods can be accessed from two points - one off of Giles Lane, next to the car park and the other on Park Wood Road. There is a looping path that joins the two in this peaceful and secluded woods and which is a good place to explore either at the start or end of exploring the nearby Crab and Winkle Way.

Keep an eye out for the hollow stump of a tree, next to the stream half way along this path. Bark covers part of this hollow where you will find the cache.

The box contains momentos of the University of Kent's 50th anniversary celebrations, a minature, replica part of a famous old trophy and some stones from the beach at the other end of the Crab and Winkle Way.

Enjoy and happy hunting!
