Decided to put a cache here after a long day of biking through nearby John D. Kennedy Park. It was my first time up to the top of the mountain and boy was it a treat. Check out the fire tower and the radio tower along with the great view.
Parking can be found at N42 22.226 / W73 18.832 on Reservoir Road. The hike from here will probably be about 4 miles round trip. The other choice is to park at Berkshire Wildlife Sanctuary on nearby West Mountain Road, although I believe there is a fee to use these trails. The hike in from here is about 1.2 miles, though the terrain is a lot more difficult. There may be even easier ways to the cache, I don't know.
Maps can be found in Lenox if you know where to go. I grabbed one at the local bike shop and I believe they are also at the Chamber of Commerce.
