How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to the recently revitilized Lake Wilcox in Oak Ridges, Ontario. While searching for this cache you can enjoy a walk along the new promenade and eventual Broadwalk. This is a high traffic area so part of the difficult will be retrieving this without being noticed.

There is a parking lot on the north end of the promenade at the corner of Bayview Ave. and North Lake Rd. Our family likes to start our walk here and head south along the promenade. There is a lot to see and do along the way including reading inscriptions and seeing carvings on the rocks, following animal footprints on the path and stopping by the Educational Centre. The promenade ends at a cul-du-sac on Sunset Beach Rd.

The cache is small and contains only a log. Bring a pen/pencil.
