The cache is a bison capsule a short walk from a popular fishing access site.
The original Riparian_1 cache, its hiding place, and a large section on the riverbank washed downstream. However, the spirit of Riparian_1 lives on. Hopefully its new home will be more stable, but it had a good run for a cache located on a river that whittles away at its confines every year. The good news is the new location does not involve crossing water except possibly at flood stage.
