Geocache Description:

Long story short, John is a family friend who works at a local pub in Scarborough who's known my parents since their honeymoon. I told him what geocaching was when we visited Scarborough for the weekend recently and to my suprise he knew a little about it after overhearing some people (I'm sure we've all tried that Sherlock cache, and failed, am I right? Haha!)

He told me that one day he found a strange black magnetic container on the floor of his pub, and for years it's been stuck to his cash register. I know that kind of container anywhere, that's a micro geocache! Although now a bit battered and bruised but still with a perfectly good working magnet.

He seemed to think there may have once been a geocache on a little ruin just outside his pub, which seems perfectly plausible!

Anyways, one night whilst having a few pints he told us a story of his first house down Oldstead when he used to live in Hull. Since there's no geocaches within a fair distance I told him I'd place it there for him.

It's a basic bog standard hide, wheelchair users MAY be able to reach it so terrain is 1*
