Happy 200th!!

Bison-Ten-Yell

This cache was placed to honor the Bicentennial Birthday of Bison Ten Yell.

Bison invented the use of ten verbal signals that could be yelled during combat to alert soldiers to the battle plan.  The soldiers had to memorize the meaning of each signal or combination of signals.  Often commanders would yell bogus signals so the enemy could not decode their signals.

With the invention of texting, the Ten-Yell system was soon abandoned.  Since Smart Phones have not been made durable enough to withstand the impact of Football Players, the Ten-Yell system continues to be used today.

So I hope you had the chance to celebrate Bison-Ten-Yell with a yell of your own as you find this cache!

Congratulations to carlep_99 on his FTF and Happy Birthday to crafty_cat92!!!
