Geocache Description:

Welcome to SELBAC (South East London, Bromley and Croydon)

This month we are having a meeting on a

*** Wednesday ***

for a change, and so have decided to try a pub in the

*** Eastern Hemisphere ***

Geocachers from far and wide (and near!) are welcome

We shall be at the Queen’s Head, High Street, Chislehurst BR7 5AN on Wednesday October 1st from around 6.30pm until 10pm, or later, and will have a dedicated area at the front to the left.

There is wheel chair access at the venue from the rear car park and there's only one step down to our dedicated area.

Experienced or not, this is an opportunity to meet with fellow geocachers and chat about all things caching. Discover and swap trackables and put faces to those names in the log books. Unsolved puzzles.... bring them along to see if someone else can help with them. Can't find a local cache - or even one some way away - we may be able to help?

Food readily available as this is an Ember Inn - you can see their website here. Children are very welcome as long as they are supervised.

The nearest train station is Chislehurst which is a good walk away, but there is the 162 bus which will get you to the pub. There is a car park to the rear of the pub (narrow entrance to the left of the pub). You need to pay £1 to park here, which is refunded against any food or drink. There is also off-road car parking opposite and a large car park just up the road (both are free after 6:30).

We are very keen to meet new cachers - so please come and join us. You’ll feel among friends once you walk through the door.

If you arrive early there a plenty of local caches to find including JTB's Chislehurst, Kemnal Kwik Step and Hawkswood Hop Series, RubyShoos Assiduous Cacher Challenges, a few Church Micros and I even hear tell that there are some local Wherigos.
