We would suggest parking at the given coords and taking the gravel path past Pollnagollum Cave, around to Stage 1, and then continue on towards the trailhead for Stage 2. From here, a short distance beyond the trees, cross a small barbed wire fence and the triangulation pillar is around 600m away over boggy ground, with superb views of Cuilcagh along the way.
Once you've reached Stage 2, you can either double back towards the path or continue on cross country towards GZ - although we can't vouch for the cross country terrain as we were on mountain bikes when placing the cache so had to double back!
Please note the attributes and do expect a significant walk, especially if going by the paths!
To obtain the coordinates for the final cache, solve the below:
Stage 1: How many of the support legs have been cut at a clean 45 degree angle? Let this number be A.
Stage 2: Face the trig plate. Number the corners clockwise, starting with the bottom left. Which corner of the pillar is broken off? Let this number be B.
The final cache can be found at:
N 54° 19. [B-2] [0] [A+2] W 007° 45. [2B] [A+B] [B+1]
As a bonus, reaching Stage 2 of this cache will also allow you to log a virtual cache! Ye Ole Survey Monuments
