This cache is a replacement to the original Daisy Basket that was muggled at Big Dry Creek in early 2014. This section of the Platte River trail system is a wonderful and easy walk. We have seen numerous bird species on this walk along with plentiful wildflowers and butterflies during bloom season. An early morning or dusk walk will also bring frog and criket song to serenade you to your find. There are also nearby caches to enjoy. The views of the river from the cache site extend north and south, with the cache being an easy quick grab from the path.
Seekers are looking for a green plastic container with a tight fitting lock-lock lid. Inside are flower seeds and plenty of assorted goodies to charm young cachers. Parking is available in a pull-out off 120th Ave, with a approximate 1/2 mile stroll to the cache.
Enjoy the flowers, birds and views!
