Geocache Description:

This cache is placed near the parking spot for the Dickinson Memorial Forest cache series. It is a short walk from parking down towards the river.

Years ago, the Swanzey Fire Department held musters here. There are still some relics left from that long ago era, however, it's my understanding that they will be removed in the near future. There are some wonderful views of the Ashuelot River from this property, however, erosion has eaten away at the river bank, so be careful and don't get too close to the edge. This area is also easily accessible on foot from the nearby campground.
