Sono molti in Lombardia i resti della linea Cadorna, per esteso: sistema difensivo italiano alla Frontiera Nord verso la Svizzera.
Questo cache è posizionato presso l'ingresso (o l'uscita) di una galleria scavata nella roccia sotto il monte Crocione, ai monti di Brente.
Per arrivarci sono possibili più percorsi: il primo, completamente ciclabile, prosegue lungo la strada militare dopo i monti di Nava (presente altro cache GC593X2). Seguendo le indicazioni del suddetto cache, continuare lungo la mulattiera, quasi tutta in sterrato ma con pendenze meno eccessive, rispetto al primo tratto per arrivare ai monti di Nava. Solo alla fine (abbastanza breve) è molto sconnesso, a causa delle numerose frane.
Se si ha un buon allenamento si può proseguire lungo la galleria ed arrivare alla cima del monte Tremezzo, sempre lungo la vecchia strada militare, e poi al cache vicino al rifugio Venini (GC5CE03 ).
Consiglio di munirsi di una torcia, anche se la galleria è dritta e si vede molto chiaramente la fine, giunti al centro c'è parecchio buio, inoltre il fondo può essere bagnato e molto scivoloso, prestare molta attenzione.
Dopo la galleria però la strada non è più ciclabile per molti tratti, da qui è necessario proseguire con bici in spalla.
Un altro percorso invece è possibile dal rifugio Venini: arrivati al cache GC5CE03 proseguire per il monte Tremezzo e il monte Crocione, lungo la strada militare e poi scendere lungo i resti della medesima, fino ad arrivare alla galleria. Il cache ovviamente è all'altra estremità. Ricordarsi di essere muniti di una torcia.
