Geocache Description:

You looking for a medium-sized lock 'n lock tethered at about knee height about 10m off the trail.

This point on the Waskahegan trail is a crossroads of sorts. Most arrive here along the Waskahegan trail from the northeast and continue southwest across the meadow toward the fire tower. More and more, cachers are arriving here across the meadow from the northwest and some even continue southeast to the storied "Lost Charley" cache.

If I'd called this cache "Grand Central", almost everyone in the West would understand immediately what I meant. But I decided to go a bit exotic and call it Shinjuku after Shinjuku Station in Tokyo, Japan. It was estimated back in 2007 that an average of 3.6 million people pass through Shinjuku Station each day, making it the world's largest travel hub by far.

I passed through Shinjuku once and for someone who grew up in a town of 3200 people, it was exciting, yes, but at the same time it was an assault on the senses to say the least. All that humanity packed into such a small space! And everyone hurrying to where they need to go.

Take away the concrete, steel, trains, cars, the massive din of 3.6 million people; then add trees, grass, birds and almost absolute silence you've got this crossroads in the Ministik. I'll take this version anytime.
