This is a great cache for a family adventure. The terrain is a level 1 until you hit ground zero. Once you hit ground zero there is a little adventure and the terrain becomes a level 3. I know it’s accessible to children because my daughter placed the cache in its current location. The cache is hidden along a gravel path off Taylor Creek Park Bike Trail.
I like to encourage Geocachers to walk, bike and use transit. This area is a great place to walk and bike. I know there is a bus that comes along Dawes road that will drop you off close to the path. The closest subway station is Victoria Park. If you must drive there is a parking lot off of Dawes Rd.
There is a pen, log and treasures to trade. Once you have found the cache don’t forget to visit the duck pond. Be on the lookout for the Great Blue Heron.
Please do not feed the ducks, and do not leave any garbage.
Take a lot of pictures. I love pictures.
Have fun!
(I dedicate this cache to my cat Midnight (as seen in my picture) who died on October 15, 2014. She was my friend for 16 years, and will be missed).
