Time for geocaching in the rain and snow, celebrating holidays with family and friends, and getting ready for the New Year... join with other Geocachers to get in the mood for winter in the northwest! Put this event on your watchlist for updates.
Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be a member of WSGA to attend.
Warm up with us at:
Papa Pete's in Longview, WA
Saturday, December 6, 3:30 - 5:00 PM
Main floor dining room
5614 Ocean Beach Hwy
(360) 577-7272
Please log a will-attend if you are planning to come! It REALLY helps with planning!
If you are going to order food at the event (not required, of course), they can serve you better if you call ahead. Just tell them what time you want your order to be ready!
Activities: Take your picture with the stuffed snowman. Learn how to make some basic bows for packages or some paper snowflakes. Exchange a funny gift. Or, just socialize and meet new friends.
Gift exchange: Famous local geocacher bearsandme will be heading up a white elephant geocaching gift exchange... if you want to participate, bring a wrapped geocaching-related gift ($10 maximum value) to trade... It can be something funny or something useful... it's up to you! You know we geocachers are good at trading items!
Prizes: We'll be giving away some great raffle gifts, too. Someone will win a WSGA membership, some poinsettias will find new homes, and everyone will go home with a paracord buddy (see photo).
A bonus for coming to the area today is the Longview parade and tree lighting that follows this event. If you are interested in attending, here is the link:
