How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

This is a nice area south of the golf course which we felt worthy of a visit by geocachers who will appreciate the terrain! This is Halton Region Conservation Authority property. Please observe the sign at the entrance to the trail so no night caching here please!

It is possible to bike most of the way for those considering this option. After you find the cache be sure to take a look at the scenic spots close by.

There is information about the close by geocache "Across the Diversion Channel" GC5CQ44 (which is equally relevant to this geocache), on the history of the diversion channel and Hurricane Hazel (October 15, 1954), when the Sixth Line was impassable and water levels under bridges rose as much as 5.5 metres.

Parking is available on Regency but please enter the trail at the gateway where the HRCA sign is. This is the only possible access to the trail.
