Cette cache fait partie d'une série de Mysteries (+ une cache bonus) sur le thème des albums de Lucky Luke.
Il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir les albums pour trouver la cache.
Cet album raconte l'histoire (enfin, une certaine version de l'histoire) de la construction du pont entre St Louis et Illinoistown, sur le Mississippi.
Au début de l'histoire, la traversée du Mississippi entre les deux villes ne peut se faire que par des bacs transbordeurs.
Les horaires capricieux des bacs transbordeurs avaient pour seul but de remplir les bars et les hôtels où les clients se faisaient systématiquement racketter.
Tout cela profitait en premier lieu à Bat Cayman, celui qui avait reussit l'exploit de se faire élire maire à la fois de St Louis et d'Illinoistown ... et qui contrôlait tous les flux financiers des deux villes.
Inutile de dire que Bat Cayman voyait d'un très mauvais oeil la construction d'un pont qui allait faire disparaître cet argent si dûrement gagné !
Quand Lucky Luke arrive, cela va faire bientôt quatre ans que le chantier est lancé, mais l'ingénieur James Eads est désespéré.Le chantier n'avance pas en raison d'une série d'incidents qui bloquent les travaux.
A la demande du sénateur Bridges, Lucky Luke vient à l'aide de l'ingénieur pour faire cesser les incidents mais ...
... la tâche est ardue et les problèmes continuent.
Pendant que Lucky Luke est affairé à faire cesser les incidents, il faut reconstruire le pont et on manque d'hommes. L'ingénieur Eads recrute, mais attention, il ne recrute pas n'importe qui !
Il est à la recherche de personnes compétentes et a prévu de faire passer un entretien d'embauche très strict pour trouver la perle rare.
Pour travailler sur un chantier de construction comme celui-ci, il est important d'avoir le coup d'oeil et de connaître les unités de mesure.

This cache is part of a serie of mystery caches about Lucky Luke comics. You don't need to have the books to find the cache.
This book tells the story of the building of the bridge between St Louis and Illinoistown, on the Mississippi.
At the beginning of the story, the crossing over the Mississippi can be done only by ferry boats.
The somewhat capricious ferry timetables were designed to fill the bars and the hotels where customers were subject to racketeering.
All this was for the profit of Bat Cayman, the man who was the mayor of both St Louis and d'Illinoistown ... and who controlled all the money moving around the two towns.
Needless to say that Bat Cayman was not happy to see the building of a bridge that would make all this hard-earned money dissappear !
When Lucky Luke arrives, the building has started 4 years ago, but the engineer Eads is hopeless. The building cannot progress because of a series of incidents that block the work.
At senator Bridges request, Lucky Luke comes to the aid of the engineer to stop the incidents but ...
... the task is difficult and the incidents continues to happen.
While Lucky Luke is busy with the incidents, the bridge must be rebuilt. There is however a lack of competent manpower, so the engineer Eads recruits.
He is looking for qualified people and he plans to make them pass a strict job interview.
To work on such worksite, it is important to have a good eye and to know measuring units.
