Geocache Description:

This cache takes you to beautiful downtown Hayward. The brew pub near this cache is one of the oldest in the state, and started operating in 1983, shortly after California law changed to permit breweries to sell alcohol on premises. They also claim to be the original brewer of pumpkin ale.

Cache is a black magnetic nano. Please bring your own pen to sign the log. There are free lots nearby, so parking is not usually an issue. One other note: I didn't have a GPS with me when I hid this one, so I used the coordinates from the iPhone app, which are not always great. Take a look at the hint if you're having trouble finding the location. If you have better coordinates, please put them in your log or send me a message. Thanks.
