Do you like meeting well-known geocachers from other areas?
Come and join us at 6pm on Thursday, October 16 in the back room at Perkins Restaurant for a special gathering to welcome Michigan geocacher, MaxB on the River (the male part of this caching team anyway) to the area for his Tri-State visit, leaving his home on the St. Joseph River and joining us very near our beloved Delaware.
MaxB is one of the most well-traveled geocachers around, having found geocaches in every state and - get this - over half of our country's counties, completing the all-counties challenges in at least fifteen states. His geo-coverage doesn't stop at our national borders either - he's found caches in eighteen countries. But possibly even more notable than his traveling is his moving of travel bugs - he has logged over 25000 travel bugs and moved them a collective 35 million miles.
All statistics aside though, Warren is great guy with lots of enthusiasm for the game, and he's obviously got some interesting geocaching stories.
Please come and join us from 6 - 7:30pm to welcome Warren to our area. And needless to say, if you have any travel bugs you want moved... well, you know.
