Atkins Hole is the name given to the nearby ponds that we used to fish
when I was growing up. There would be a group of about half a dozen of
my friends and on a Saturday morning we would all head here to do a spot
of fishing for the day. It is a lovely area and on a warm day it was a
good sun trap.
There is only 2 different types of fish in the pond, Perch & Roach.
