Take a break in Jaden's Journey Memorial Park - created in memory of 15 year old Jaden Journey Dremsa who drowned in the lake on May 8, 2014 after accidentally hitting his head. Please be respectful and leave the park and items placed there. These items have been donated by the community or placed in the park by Jaden's family.
Park is located at the public boat launch for Lake Arrowhead so bring your kayaks, boat or even a blow up float with a paddle and enjoy the lake during the summer. A nice beach for swimming is not far from the launch but you can only get to it by boat as the owner of the adjacent land has posted their property.
Walk across the bridge to the other side of the dam and you will find a beach down a trail on the left. Or walk up the access road to the right where you can also get to the water but be careful on the rocks. This area can be gorgeous in the Spring when the water is rushing over the dam!
