To qualify for this challenge, you must find two (2) caches in each city and township in Niagara county. All cache types can be used for this challenge. Caches found prior to the publication of this cache are eligible. Archived caches are also permitted for this challenge. This cache, however, cannot be used qualifying cache. Caches you have placed do not count. Only caches you have found count.
You will have to publish a list of finds that qualify you for this cache. Include GC number, cache name, city/town and date you found it. You can link them in a bookmark list, type them in your found log, or attach them as jpeg or other file. If you prefer, you can email/pm me your list. Finds not accompanied by a list will be unceremoniously deleted.
You can sign the log book any time but cannot claim a find until you have qualified. I am not including an insanely difficult leg 2 (or a leg 2 at all...) so don't temp me! I will delete all logs that don't meet the challenge.
I have uploaded a map to help you determine what township or city your finds are in. Also, there is a link (see related web pages) that will allow you do download a KML (GoogleEarth) file with the township boundaries for all of NY state. Open this in GoogleEarth and then load you finds. This will make it easy to see where your finds fall.
Find two (2) caches in each of the following townships of Niagara County: Cambria, Hartland, Lewiston, Lockport, Newfane, Niagara, Pendelton, Porter, Royalton, Somerset, Wheatfield and Wilson.
Find two (2) caches in each of three cities in Niagara County: Lockport, Niagara Falls and North Tonawanda.
Please note that there is both a city and a town of Lockport. You will have to find two caches in each entity.
As stated above, the cache is at the posted coordinates and it is a single leg. Cache is a LockNLock style plastic container. Please make sure it is well concealed after you have signed the log. Also, since the cache is in Niagara County, be aware of Poison Ivy. It covers much of Niagara County and there may be some near the cache. BYOP as there is no writing implement in the cache.
Lastly, please enjoy the scenic beauty that is Niagara County as you complete this challenge.
