Favignana è tra le poche isole del Mediterraneo in cui è possibile l'accesso da terra alla maggior parte delle sue coste, che sviluppano circa 33 km lineari di baie, calette e spiagge sabbiose o di ciottoli, nonchè di scogli a volte comodi e piatti. Una caratteristica, questa, che lascia al visitatore la possibilità di trovare una tranquillità marina altrove inimmaginabile.
Cala Azzurra è una delle spiagge di sabbia più conosciute di Favignana, caratterizzata da un’acqua cristallina e particolarmente rinfrescante, con il fondale color bianco dai riflessi rosa. E’ facilmente raggiungibile uscendo dal centro abitato con l’ausilio di bici, ma è suggestivo anche arrivarci in barca. E’ sicuramente adatta a tutti i tipi di bagnanti compresi i bambini.

Favignana is one of the few islands of the Mediterranean Sea where it is possibile to reach the sea from almost all of its coastline. All along the coast (roughly 33 kilometers) you can find spectacular bays, creeks, sandy or pebbly beaches as well as rocks that, in some places, are flat and very comfortable. In such places the visitor has the possibility to relax in harmony with the tranquillity of the marine environment.
Cala Azzurra is one of the most famous sandy beaches of Favignana, characterized by crystal clear water and very refreshing, with the bottom color white pink hues. It 'easy to reach coming from the town with the help of a bike, but it is suggestive also get there by boat. It 's definitely suitable for all types of swimmers including children.
