This is truly a unique date - You didn't think we could only celebrate it once?
This maybe the shortest geocaching event (or at least tied for shortest) ever. It's scheduled to last for only that second when the stars align, or at least the calendar and clock align (again) to form a truly unique date and time.
This unique date will not occur for another 89 years (88 years - 20 days) on January 2, 2103 (01/02/03). We could fit the time 04:05:06 A.M. in to make it extra special, but that is really early in the morning. I guess we could make it 04;05:06 P.M. But I can almost guarantee that very few of us will still be around when it happens again to argue whether it should be A.M. or P.M.
Some may say that there is a date when this unique pattern will occur that is sooner on January 2, 2034 (1/2/34) almost 20 years (19 years - 20 days) from this event. But realist prefer the two digit month and day. Some of us may still be around on that special date. And if we are, I am sure there will be a geocaching event to celebrate it. But at what time?
It will be a little warmer on 12/13/14 at 15:16:17 (3:16:17 P.M.), so you may not need your favorite hot beverage. But let's still celebrate (twice) with all the local cachers this unique date and time. But only for an instant (again).
