Geocache Description:

The coordinates at the top of the page take you to the roof of a nine-story parking garage. From there, follow the instructions to locate the cache. The magnetic micro contains nothing but a log sheet.

STRANGE AS IT SOUNDS...

THIS CACHE IS MORE ENJOYABLE ON A WINDY DAY. OTHERWISE, THERE WILL BE NO CHIMES OF FREEDOM TO LISTEN TO.

THIS IS A FIFTEEN MINUTE CACHE.

#1 From the coordinates, go to the Southwest corner of the roof.

#2 From that corner, look along the horizon to the top of the HUGE baseball bat handle.

#3 Notice the CUBE-shaped obstruction keeping you from seeing more of the bat handle.

#4 Walk to the top of the nearest ramp and look down, way down.

#5 The two large lightpoles in a raised planter below you are leading into a tunnel that has a 10-panel skylight. Listen for the CHIMES OF FREEDOM.

#6 Exit the garage, walk through the tunnel, and emerge at the CHIMES OF FREEDOM.

#7 Looking up at the chimes and into the sky, notice that CUBE that was blocking your vision of the baseball bat.

#8 The cache is directly below the center of that CUBE. Once you enter the building at street level, there is no need to use the steps nor the elevators.

The terrain rating is useless on this cache because the hunt takes you to several different levels prior to the final stop and your approach can drastically alter the rating.

(By today's standards, technically this is not a multi-cache. However, when it was placed in 2002, there was no "unknown" designation).
