Geocache Description:

BYOP. Please DO NOT park on the highway. There is a lane to pull off and safely park near the entrance to the cemetery. I wouldn't consider this cache to be winter-friendly, but attempt at your own risk. Cache can be found without entering the cemetery, but it will be considerably easier to access it this way. Please respect the property and don't attempt this cache at night.

Lincoln Cemetery is located in the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 35 in Lincoln Township, Hamilton County, Iowa. There is very little information available about this cemetery, even on the County's webpage. It appears that there are somewhere between 75-100 stones here, most of them with names "Lunning" and "Amundson." We just happened across this cemetery while out visiting other local burial grounds and figured it would be a good place to put a cache.
