This historic building is the centerpiece of the little town of Elsinore, Utah. Formerly known as the White Rock Schoolhouse established in 1898, it is now the town's library. You can read the history of the town and the library here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elsinore,_Utah. Currently the library is open most afternoons for a few hours and serves the local population of Elsinore. It is staffed by friendly volunteers and supported by funds from the town and generous donors.
Cub Scout Pack 1389 was started by a family in Elsinore who saw a need for first grade boys and their families to have the opportunity to participate in Tiger Cubs. Chartered by the Heritage Highway 89 Alliance, it is the only unit in the area with a Tiger Cub den. The Pack often meets in the park next to the library during good weather.
The cache was made easy to hide and seek by seven-year-olds. It is a camo'ed peanut butter jar full of items with a cub scouting theme, and often found in the pockets of little boys!
