Die Pfeishütte – 1.922 m
Am Ende des Samertals liegt die Pfeishütte umringt von schroffen Karwendelgipfeln. Die Besteigung von Rumer Spitze, hintere Bachofenspitze, Stempeljochspitze oder Sonntagkarspitze sind einige der zahlreichen Gipfeltouren. Auch bieten sich etliche Überschreitungen an.
Auf der Hütte selbst warten gemütliche Zimmerlager, eine urige Gaststube und eine ausgezeichnete Küche.
Die Hütte hat von Mitte Juni bis Ende Oktober geöffnet. Im Winter steht ein Winterraum für vier Personen zur Verfügung.
Hüttenzustiege
Es bieten sich drei Zustiegsmöglichkeiten an:
a) Vom Halltal über das Stempeljoch
b) Von Innsbruck mit der Seilbahn auf das Hafelkar und auf den Goetheweg
c) Von Scharnitz durch Gleirsch- und Samertal (auch mit dem Rad)

Die Dose
Die Dose ist oberhalb der Hütte versteckt und leicht zu finden. Auf den umliegenden Gipfeln lassen sich noch die eine oder andere Dose finden.

English version - The Pfeis refuge – 1.922 m
The Pfeis refuge is situated at the end of the so called Samer Valley, encompassed from steep summits of the Karwendel range. Some of them, like the Rumer Spitze, hintere Bachofenspitze, Stempeljochspitze or Sonntagkarspitze provide challenging mountain tours.
At the refuge you´ll meet comfortable rooms as well as a rustic parlour and an excellent cuisine.
The lodge is open from the middle of June until the middle of October. During winter there is a small shelter providing space for four persons.
Ascents to the refuge
You have three main access routes:
a) from Halltal near Innsbruck via the Stempeljoch
b) from Innsbruck with the cable car onto the Hafelkar and then on Goetheweg
c) from Scharnitz through the Gleirsch- and Samervalley (possible with the bike)

This easy to find stash is situated a bit above the lodge. On the surrounding peaks you can find even more caches.
