Along the way, you will discover a few caches that contain clues you need to collect, others that are not what they seem to be, and a couple that we hope will make you smile.
IMPORTANT NOTE! THIS CACHE CONTAINS A CLUE YOU WILL NEED TO RECORD IN ORDER TO OPEN THE CONTAINER AT SHORELINE TO SKYLINE – TANGO. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE CLUE FROM THIS CACHE.
Now that you’re getting into the swing of things, let’s spring one of those “not what it seems” caches on you. The path that brings you to GZ passes close to recently-built condos, some of which are on the former site of the Stardust Roller Rink. Anyone who spent any part of their teen years on the North Shore during the era from the mid-60s thru the early 80s will tell you the Stardust was THE popular place to go.
For a time the Stardust even featured live bands to skate to, booking such local hit-makers as Sweeney Todd, Bachman-Turner Overdrive and Seattle’s Heart. Then there was the time in the early 70s an up-and-coming American duo was booked. Unfortunately, Sonny & Cher had to skip their booking at the Stardust in order to fly off to New York for an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.
As for the cache, you are looking for a magnetic micro hidden inside some local camouflage. You will have to think outside the box for this one. Watch out for muggles because this is a popular dog walking spot for the condo owners.
We hope you enjoy this series. Remember to cache safely by always being aware of your surroundings, and please put the cache back as you found it
