Geocache Description:

This is in honor of the Cub Scout Collecting Pin.  At this cache, you can trade smashed pennies which is something I started collecting to earn my pin.

A lot of people collect things.  My dad collects coins, my sister collects snow globes, my mom collects BearFoots, and I collect rocks and smashed pennies.  By starting a collection, I was able to earn my Cub Scout Collecting Belt Loop and pin.

At this cache you will find a regular geocaching container with a log book and swag.  It is big enough to hold trackables.  Also in this container, you will find a small pill bottle.  Inside you will find 5 smashed pennies.  The starting pennies are from COSI, Hershey Park, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, the Clay Center, and the Columbus Zoo.  If you collect smashed pennies and would like one of these, you are welcome to TRADE another smashed penny for it.  If everyone does what they are supposed to, there should always be 5 smashed pennies in the container.  If there aren't please let me know.  This is a pretty out-of-the-way location so the container shouldn't get muggled or messed with.  If anything is missing, sadly it would be because geocachers aren't following the rules.

Two trackables, including my new Michelin Man trackable, are in the cache to start with!
